I don’t really care about her second sentence, commenting on how some kid became a professional recording artist, she can say what she wants about that.  But I have a problem with the first sentence because she said, “It should be harder to be an artist”, instead of, “It should be harder to be a professional recording artist”.  Maybe she meant the second thing when she said the first thing, but she said the first thing nonetheless.  And I’m not down with the first thing.
