Maybe version 4 (or 5 - 1) was meant for a day like today when 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s are wild, since….
( (1 x 5) x (1 + 10) ) + ( (1 + 5) x (1 + 10) ) = 11 x 11
(1 + 10) to the power of ( 1 / (5/10) ) = 11 x 11
